Deal85.com did not just spring up out of the ether, rather it is the result of the hardwork which flows from a dedicated team of authors, editors and moderators.

You will come across several members of the team as you traverse Deal85.com, though there are four who currently make up the bulk of the work here at Deal85.com towers. Each of the positions at Deal85.com is a permanent role – which is given a “character” name – the current incumbent in each position is listed below:

The Dealodile

The Dealodile – Rob Scott

Rob Scott was the original founder of Deal85.com, and he still takes an active role in running the website, though he concentrates most of his time on Business Development. As a result, Rob spends much time liaising with retailers who have expressed an interest in becoming listed within the website, and making sure they are able to submit their deals in a way which works both for them and the growing band of 85ers who use Deal85.com. From time-to-time, however, Rob will discover a hot deal himself and add it to Deal85.com – just like anyone else! You can view the deals Rob has submitted here.

Dealux – Jono Farrington

Jono Farrington was the first addition to the Deal85.com team. His energy and drive has to be seen to be believed. Jono spends most of his time adding Amazon UK deals to Deal85.com as he has a wealth of experience with what is one of the biggest, busiest and longest standing online retailers. Jono also spends a lot of time adding Amazon deals and other deals to the Deal85 USA site. You can view all of Jono’s submitted deals here.

Voucher Vulture

Voucher Vulture – Linda Haywood

Originally recruited to the Deal85.com team to track down purely clothing voucher codes, Linda now spends a lot of time sifting through merchant offer emails to discern what is and is not a good deal before adding the very best to the Deal85.com website. As a result, you can be reasonably sure that any deals Linda adds will be of high quality. Linda also runs several busy fashion webzines, so any clothing deals she lists here must be treated with the utmost of respect! Bargain Buzzard

The Bargain Buzzard is our trainee position – which is currently vacant. When we add a new member to the deal85.com family, this will be their position! If you are interested in becoming a trainee Bargain Buzzard, please contact us. This trainee position will teach you a little of online retail, a little of web publishing and a lot about the specific mechanisms we use here at Deal85.com. It will also stand you in good stead for a number of permanent roles within our parent business, or Deal85.com.

Retailer and Public Authors

We also allow retailers and members of the public to submit deals directly using our Submit Deals form. Users do not to register with Deal85.com to submit deals. However, every single submission to the Deal85.com website (retailer submissions included) is moderated and/or edited by the Deal85.com team (made up of the above individuals) before being approved for publication or deleted permanently. Interestingly, most submissions are deleted or heavily edited before publication, save some exceptional retailers who produce engaging and accurate deals! Any authors with an account who regularly submit good deals shall be added to this list in future.
